Dates: 25 to 27 June 2024
Duration: 3 days
Times: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm AEST each day
Venue: Livestream
The IICRC-approved Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) course is designed to teach the art and science of carpet cleaning to professional service providers, as well as others in related industries. Emphasis is placed on practical application, identifying fibre, yarn and carpet constructions, style types and finishes, soiling conditions, cleaning science and methodology, and other issues and concerns faced by individuals who maintain and clean installed broadloom carpet. When coupled with additional on-the-job training and field experience, students should be adequately prepared to perform carpet cleaning techniques and procedures. The course is designed to cover pre-inspection, fabric identification, basic cleaning chemicals and equipment, and proper cleaning techniques and procedures with a residential and light commercial emphasis. This course will enable the participant to obtain IICRC-CCT certification, which is a prerequisite for other IICRC courses.
The CCT course is taught by Ann Bedwell, a 22-year veteran of the carpet and textile cleaning industry. Ann is an IICRC-approved instructor for the CCT course, and she teaches certifications for the State of California to the insurance industry. Ann is a member of the ANSI/IICRC S540 Standards Committee and she teaches at Delmac Cleaning and Restoration Academy in Bakersfield, California.
This online livestream Coach8 CCT course will be held over a 3-day period, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) each day.
Participants earn 14 IICRC Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for attending this course.
To receive your certification, you must pass an IICRC examination. If you intend to complete the exam, you must complete a separate exam registration process, which will be provided after registering for the course. Exams for onsite in-person courses are generally held in the classroom after lunch on the final day of the course. Exams for online livestream courses have different arrangements.
Coach8 course registration fees do NOT include IICRC exam registration fees. Exam fees are paid directly to the IICRC separately. The IICRC exam fee for this course is currently $80 USD, but you can check the IICRC website to ensure that fee is still correct.
Please read our Terms and Conditions page for information about payment, cancellations and substitutions.
