Course: IICRC Colour Repair Technician Course (CRT)

Duration: 2 days (6:00 am to 1:00 pm AEST each day)
Prerequisite: IICRC CCT or CCMT certification
The IICRC-approved Colour Repair Technician (CRT) course provides real-world knowledge in carpet dyeing and colour repair. This two-day class will prepare you to begin working in color repair and is a prerequisite to earn your (MTC) Master Textile Cleaner Certification. Topics to be covered include: bleach spots; sun fading; airbrush techniques; colour theory; large area repair; full room dye procedures; oriental rug restoration; colour tinting/cleaning; and proper dyeing techniques from a dye manufacturer.
This class is taught by Melody David, a second-generation carpet dyer with experience in all facets of carpet dyeing and colour repairs. She has trained hundreds of carpet cleaners in the United States and us appreciated for her no-nonsense approach to colour repair.
To receive your certification you must pass an IICRC examination. If you intend to complete the exam as part of the livestream course, you must complete a separate exam registration process.
Students must have IICRC CCT or CCMT certification as a prerequisite for this course.
