The IICRC-approved Trauma and Crime Scene Technician (TCST) course provides training in the proper maintenance and cleaning of trauma and crime scenes. Emphasis is placed on the following topics: health and safety requirements, including the donning and doffing of personal protective equipment and creating a hazard assessment of the area; structural remediation; contents remediation; the cleaning and disposal of vehicles and industrial machinery, including lockout/tagout and working with industrial site officers. Cleaning techniques and equipment will be demonstrated, and laws regarding hazardous waste, transport, storage and disposal will be discussed. This course will enable the participant to obtain IICRC-TCST certification.

Since this is classroom-based course, all students who come to Coach8 need to be fully vaccinated or medically exempt in line with the Public Health Direction.

The IICRC-approved Trauma and Crime Scene Technician (TCST) course provides training in the proper maintenance and cleaning of trauma and crime scenes. The Coach8 TCST course is held over a 2-day period encompassing 14 hours, not including meal breaks and exam periods.

Earn 2 IICRC Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for attending this course.

To receive your certification you must pass an IICRC examination. There is a test fee of $80.00 USD, payable directly to the IICRC, on the final day of the course prior to receiving your certificate.
