Registration for a Coach8 course constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Registration and Payment

To confirm your attendance in a Coach8 course, full payment must be received 30 days prior to the commencement of the course, unless other arrangements have been made with Coach8.

Quotes for Coach8 courses are valid for 30 days. Please reference your quote number on your registration form.

Coach8 reserves the right to modify course fees at any time prior to the start of the course. The price of any course will be that ruling on the day of the participant’s registration at which time the first payment has been made by the participant.

From time to time, deposits may be required to secure a place in an upcoming Coach8 course. These deposits are non-refundable.

Confirmation

Upon receipt of your completed registration form and payment, Coach8 will confirm your registration by e-mail. The confirmation will include venue information, course times, and other relevant information. You will receive confirmation within 3 weeks before the course start date.

Pre-requisites

In order to enrol in a Coach8 course, participants must be fluent in English, at least 15 years of age, and able to provide evidence of successful completion of any pre-requisite courses. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that all pre-requisites have been met prior to attending a Coach8 course.

Booking Cancellations for Face-to-Face Courses

Any booking cancellation requests for face-to-face courses must be made to Coach8 in writing. The following policy applies to the timing of all such requests.

  • If you cancel your registration 15 or more days before the course commencement date, a full refund will be provided.
  • If you cancel your registration 8 to 14 days before the course commencement date, Coach8 will refund 50% of the course fee to you, and will retain the other 50% as a course cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel your registration 1 to 7 days before the course commencement date, or if you fail to attend the course without cancelling, Coach8 will retain the full course fee as a cancellation fee.
  • If you withdraw from a course on or after the commencement date, Coach8 will retain the full course fee.
  • If you cannot attend a course because of a natural disaster such as a flood or fire, Coach8 will need to be informed in writing before the course commencement date. If you are unable to attend due to these circumstances, you may substitute the next course date without incurring additional charges. This is a one-time only transfer. You must sit the course within 60 days of the cancellation date.

Booking Cancellations for Livestream Courses

All registrations for livestream courses are final. Payment must be made at the time of registration, and no refunds are permitted for livestream courses once registration is completed.

Date changes and substitutions are permitted for livestream courses. If you are unable to attend a livestream course, Coach8 must be notified in writing before the course commencement date, and the replacement course or substitution must be taken within three months of the original course. Date changes and substitutions are not permitted simply because a student arrives at a course after the starting time.

If you attend a livestream course with Coach8, we ask that you sign into your livestream course at least 10 minutes prior to the starting time to ensure your technology is working and to be present for attendance and policy review.

Coach8 is not responsible for ensuring your Internet connectivity or for any connectivity problems that prevent you from accessing a livestream course. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including connectivity problems. You can test your system capabilities in advance by visiting zoom.us/test.

Requirements for livestream courses, such as system specifications and IICRC exam registration processes, are described on the Coach8 website. Review and confirmation of these requirements is the responsibility of the student registering for the livestream course.

Early departure policy

In order to qualify for an IICRC certification exam, the IICRC early departure requirements must be strictly adhered to.

Under the IICRC livestream course rules, students are required to attend every day of their course for the allotted hours. If a student does not attend a course for the entire duration, they will not be eligible to sit for the certification exam. Students cannot sign into a class late or leave early.

Coach8 is not responsible for ensuring that a student is present for the entire duration of their course. If a student cannot be present, Coach8 needs to be notified.

IICRC livestream student participation policy

In order to qualify for an IICRC certification exam, students must adhere to the following IICRC requirements:

  • Students must have a suitable internet connection.
  • Students must sign into their course and participate using either a desktop, laptop or tablet computer.
  • Students must be seen by the instructor with their head and shoulders visible on camera.
  • Students may not participate in any other activity during class time (walking, working, speaking to others, speaking on cell phone, etc.)
  • Students may not participate while in a vehicle at any time.

In order to qualify for an IICRC certification exam, the IICRC Student Participation policy regarding attendance, screen-sharing, and participant behaviour requirements must be strictly adhered to. Coach8 has no control or oversight regarding the IICRC Student Participation policy or their decision to deny a certification exam to a student who does not adhere to their specific policies. Any student who cannot complete a certification exam due to policy infractions is not eligible for course transfer or refund, and registration payment is forfeited.
