Course: IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) + Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) Combo Course

This 5-day combo course combines two of our most popular IICRC-approved qualifications: Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD). These two onsite in-person courses will be held over a 5-day period from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) each day. The finishing times will vary each day. Please note that the onsite WRT course cannot be exchanged for an online WRT course. Details of the two courses are provided below.

IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
The IICRC-approved Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course provides skills for performing remediation work, an understanding of water damage and its effects, and techniques for drying structures. This course gives restoration personnel the background to understand procedures for dealing with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mould. This course will enable the participant to obtain IICRC WRT certification, which is a prerequisite for other IICRC courses.
Participants earn 14 IICRC Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for attending this course.
Lunches and snacks will be provided by Coach8.
To receive your certification, you must pass an IICRC examination. If you intend to complete the exam, you must complete a separate exam registration process, which will be provided after registering for the course. Exams for onsite in-person courses are generally held in the classroom after lunch on the final day of the course. Exams for online livestream courses have different arrangements.
Coach8 course registration fees do NOT include IICRC exam registration fees. Exam fees are paid directly to the IICRC separately. The IICRC exam fee for this course is currently $80 USD, but you can check the IICRC website to ensure that fee is still correct.

IICRC Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)
The Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) course teaches effective, efficient and timely drying of water-damaged structures and contents for individuals engaged in property restoration and related professions. This course uses a combination of classroom training and hands-on learning techniques in order to facilitate appropriate decision-making within a restorative drying environment. Much of the training is conducted in a flooded ASD house to provide a relevant and realistic experience that students will understand and remember. This course will enable the participant to obtain IICRC ASD certification.
IICRC WRT certification is a prerequisite for this course.
